Basically when I do illustrations like this for clients the pieces in the illustration are separate. This allows for any slight or large positional changes in the characters, color changes, and perhaps the most useful of reasons, format changes. This illustration can be arranged depending on the medium it'll be used in, whether it's a large spacious banner or a finite business card or label. Either way the work is versatile.
