Welcome Back

2 weeks back in H-town and my allergies are wreaking havoc on me in ways I've never realized before. Also in these two weeks I've been totally lazy in regards to cleaning my house after the two month sojourn, which also doesn't help my allergies. So while I'm cleaning up ya'll can check out this video I edited a few days ago. All ya'll 'Dexter' heads will know what's up.

New comic! and it's about time, too. Can't remember the last time I drew a comic, although we can date it here on my site, but that seems like a lotta work right now and I'm writing this entry anyway. It's been so long, in fact, lettering the words seemed a bit daunting, like when you're walking in public and you know people are staring and you tense up because you don't wanna trip....kinda like that. Unfortunately, I won't be within reach of my scanner until later this week  so I had to take a photo of the comic so I could post it. Actually that explains why ALL my stuff has been looking that certain way for the last two months of postings. 

In other news, the end of my Brooklyn sojourn draws near, with only a couple of days left before I pack it up and head back down south. What a last couple o' months! If you been following me on Twitta you'll see I've kept a timeline of stuff that's happened, even though it's esoteric to the casual reader. Anyhoo, next posting will most likely be when I'm back in Houston, with my trusty scanner.

In Your Eyes or Your Whiskey Bottle

 

Shot just a few days ago at lunch in Washington Square Park. 

Due to some copyright bullshit, YouTube had to block my video in a long list of countries, including the great land of America. But, Vimeo is happy to host my videos when YouTube gets fussy about my song choices. The end of the video features six more videos I made, designed to be made into links via YouTube's annotation system. But, that's moot. You'll have to get to 'em the old-fashioned way.

Drink n' Draw: Round Two

Headed back up to Third Ward this past Wednesday for another night of drinking beer and drawing naked people. This week we had a nude male model. Also this week I used my japanese calligraphy pen in a few of the pieces resulting in some interesting results. Without further ado, the sketches! Oh, and beware of dong and man-ass.

The model warms us up by moving in slow motion.

I started playing around with proportions to make things more interesting.
